Gaurav Srivatchan is currently an undergraduate at NYU Stern studying Finance & Politics. It's through the unique experiences in his school and around New York that he decided to study the question: when it comes to America's social fabric, what issues should we be cynical about?

Aside from the book, he is the Head of Growth at fifty50. media, guiding the startup's decisions and employing his passion for video editing to create shorts and documentaries that have amassed hundreds of thousands of views.

Gaurav is also on the executive board of the NYU Stern Political Economy Exchange, the only politics-focused club at his business school. Through his club, he helps host conversations in his school with expert academics and public servants.

Besides these academic pursuits, he loves playing the harp and piano and enjoys spending time outdoors with his golden retriever, Coconut.
